I am Rhea, a Professional Bridal Makeup Artist, and the proud Founder of Rheglo based in London, with clientele both in the UK and across the globe. Growing up surrounded by fierce women and going to an all-girls school, I was practically born with a love for makeup and all things beauty. College introduced me to a challenging phase of bad skin, which sent me on a journey of self-discovery through bold red lips and layers of makeup. As my skin healed, so did my perspective on beauty – realising it’s not just a facade but an art that works inside-out.
Teaching a dear friend, the art of makeup during those university years was a lightbulb moment! The joy of building confidence through makeup struck a chord in my heart. The journey took an unexpected turn when I worked part-time at beauty counters, gaining priceless experience on a diverse range of faces. Along graduating with a Business Honours Degree and a determination to redefine beauty, I embraced the dual role of a Business Analyst and a blossoming Makeup Artist.
Navigating the challenges of starting from scratch fuelled my desire to make the journey smoother for others. The journey from passion to reality took a leap during the pandemic, where freelancing became a reality. Now, I find joy in glamming brides weekly, creating memories, and making friends along the way with both clients and fellow industry vendors.
